Funding Two Year-13 Scholarships at Auckland Girls' Grammar
Two scholarships — $4,000 each — for senior students who are heading into accounting, finance, or business pathways, with a focus on first-in-family university entrants.
This year we partnered with Auckland Girls' Grammar School to offer two Year-13 scholarships of $4,000 each. The scholarships are aimed at senior students moving into accounting, finance, or business pathways, with priority given to students who will be the first in their family to attend university.
How They Were Awarded
The school managed the application and selection process. Our involvement was simply to fund and to attend the assembly where the scholarships were announced. The two recipients — Sahana and Mereana — both gave short speeches that made several of our team quietly tear up at the back of the hall.
What Comes Next
Both recipients have been offered ongoing mentorship from senior members of our team — finance, structuring, the realities of the industry — through their first year of study, if they want it. We are looking forward to seeing where they go.
